With an intro that would deserve no less than Barry White's own voice over it, 'Insomniac' is that moment at the party after you have decided that you are 'Too High To Go Home' when that cute girl grabs you by the hand and walks you upstairs to the master bathroom for a warm bubble bath. Meticulously layered claps invoking both wood and water over the warmer spectrum of the producer's familiar synth palette paint an interesting picture of modern R&B, one where words are not a requirement to emotions/sexuality.
More fresh beats and retro-flavored samples from one of my new favorite labels. Adequate music for my frequent journeys beyond the Van Allen Belt. typesetGhost
